With a background rooted in fine artistry and years of hands-on experience in her studio, Lia has created bespoke pieces for a discerning clientele, including members of royalty. Created for Her Royal Highness, the First Lady of Ras al Khaimah,
Orchide is a bespoke jewellery set inspired by her favourite flower – the orchid.

Handcrafted in 18-carat yellow and white gold, the necklace, earrings and ring feature cultured pearls grown in Ras al Khaimah.
Sculptural orchid petals and flowing golden stems frame the pearls, bringing together floral elegance and the beauty of locally cultivated gems.

The warmth of yellow gold, the delicate sheen of white gold and the pearls’ subtle colours give the set its distinctive character – a personal expression of nature, craftsmanship and a connection to the Emirates.

Orchide received a Jewellery Design Award at Dubai International Jewellery Week in 2012, marking a special milestone in Lia Staehlin’s work as a designer and goldsmith.
